About the Christian Womens Fellowship

The Christian Women's Fellowship meets on the fourth Wednesday night of each month at 7:00 following Family Night in the Multimedia Room in the Annex. We have a period of devotion, discussion of business matters and fellowship. The purpose of the group is to enhance the ministries of Bath Christian Church and the local community.  In addition, there are eight ministries within Beaufort County that the group supports.  Much of the proceeds are raised during the annual Fall Bazaar which began over 60 years ago.

All ladies are invited to attend.  Just as God opens his arms in welcome and love to those who choose Him, the CWF holds out welcoming arms to all who wish to join us,   Here are some of the Outreach programs in which we participate:

  • Bath Methodist Church Backpack Program  
  • Eagle's Wings Food Pantry
  • Homeless Open Door Community Center
  • Kiwanis Special Youth Fund
  • Literacy Volunteers of Beaufort County
  • Martha's Thrift Closet
  • Purpose of God
  • Ruth's House
  • St. Thomas Episcopal Church Backpack Program
  • Zion Shelter and Kitchen

These women are responsible for washing the windows in the kitchen and fellowship hall. 

Starting with Window over the kitchen sink and moving

left into the fellowship hall, these are the assignments.

Bereavement Committee 2026

The bereavement co-chairs are responsible for contacting the committee members to help prepare side dishes and desserts, set up tables and chairs, and serve the family during the meal.  They will also clean afterwards.

INFORMATION ON CLEANING PEWS

Below you will find a list of pew cleaning assignments and information on cleaning the pews/chairs/etc.

The pews are assigned by the name that is on the brass plaque at the end of the pew, not by numbers.

A kit that includes all of the cleaning supplies that you will need is located in the communion room. When you clean the pew, please also clean the wooden wall panels at the end of your pew. They look pretty bad.

Some people chose to pair up as a team for cleaning purposes. If you have a friend who would like to assist you with cleaning, I will be happy to add her/him to the list. Feel free to do your cleaning at your convenience. It has been suggested that we make sure the cleaning is done prior to homecoming and several other times during the year.
